Kids Dental Checkups & Cleanings

Just like adults, it’s important for children to come in for dental checkups and cleanings once every six months. These visits help us take preventive steps to keep cavities at bay and monitor the development of your child’s growing smile. They’ll also receive thorough and gentle cleanings from one of our skilled dental hygienists!
Dental Sealants

Dental sealants are an excellent protective barrier for the back teeth, helping prevent food debris and plaque from building up in their nooks and crannies, which leads to cavities. The treatment is pain-free and fast. All it requires is brushing a liquid atop their enamel and curing it to harden the protective surface.
Silver Diamine Fluoride Treatment

Silver diamine fluoride (SDF) is a non-invasive alternative to tooth-colored fillings to treat small cavities. Instead of removing the decay and filling the tooth, SDF can be brushed atop the affected enamel. The silver diamine will arrest the decay, while the fluoride will help strengthen and protect the tooth until it’s able to naturally fall out on its own.
Athletic Mouthguards for Kids

Does your child participate in school sports or a local league? Protect their smile by investing in a customized athletic mouthguard designed just for them. Made from cushioning, high-quality materials and crafted by experts in a dental lab based on a detailed 3D scan, this protective gear is an absolute must-have for any athlete.
Lip & Tongue Tie Screening

When a small band of tissue within the mouth, called a frenum, is tethered (too thick or overgrown), it can keep your child from effectively being able to move their lips or tongue. The result can be difficulties nursing, sleeping, speaking, breathing, plus it can restrict the development of the teeth and jaw. We can screen for a tie whenever we see your child to ensure an issue is detected early before it affects their growth.
Pulp Treatment

Unexpected toothaches are often a sign of an infection. Pulp treatment can help ease your child’s discomfort and preserve their primary tooth so it can fall out naturally. Dr. Mistry will treat and restore the tooth by removing the infected pulp, all with an extremely gentle hand so your child will feel as comfortable as possible throughout.
