Advanced Dental Technology Portland

The Best in Precision & Comfort

Our office doesn’t boast the latest technology just for show—we use it to provide our patients with a more comfortable experience, whether you’re visiting us for a checkup and cleaning or for more complex care. We invite you to learn a little more by reading about the instruments we use and how they can change your overall visit.

Cone Beam CT Scanner

By creating a high-resolution, 3D diagnostic image of your entire facial anatomy, our team can plan more complex procedures down to the last detail. With our cone beam CT scanner, this process only takes a matter of seconds, providing Dr. Mistry with a full view of your teeth, jawbone density, facial nerves, and sinuses.

Intraoral Camera

With our intraoral camera, we’re able to take still images as well as project live video footage on a screen to show you exactly what we’re looking at during your exams. This allows us to educate you using visual resources as well as track areas of concern over time. The sleek wand design makes it comfortable, too!

Digital Impression System

Putty impressions are uncomfortable and cause many patients to gag. Digital impressions are a more comfortable, faster, and precise advancement that allows us to quickly capture a blueprint of your mouth. Once done, we can immediately send it off to an off-site laboratory or one of our computers to craft a same-day crown.

Soft Tissue Laser

We typically use our laser during treatments like frenectomies or during gum disease treatments to kill harmful oral bacteria and vaporize gum tissue without the use of a scalpel and sutures. By utilizing this technology, you can enjoy shorter recovery periods, faster procedures, and less post-operative discomfort.

Cavity Detection System

Our cavity detection system uses near-infrared transillumination to spot cavities and lesions within the teeth before they’re visible on X-rays or even to the naked eye. This technology allows us to provide proactive, prompt treatment.
